Mid-Willamette Valley Leadership Summit tickets are now available! On November 6th, we will gather at Dallas Retirement Village to grow as business and community leaders. We invite all leaders and their teams from the Mid-Willamette Valley to come learn how to implement proven methods for growing as a community of understanding. We will lean about having an outward mindset by an organization that has a proven method to change lives and transform organizations. In the afternoon session, we’ll hear from a procurement specialist who will share secrets to obtaining contracts to increase your business revenue.
United Way of Mid-Willamette Valley strives to make an impact in our community. Recently they donated money to every class room in Dallas to make sure teachers had the funds they need to teach our children. Now United Way is holding a pajama drive for Dallas foster children. New pajamas are needed for children of all ages, but teens in particular. You can drop off your donations at the Chamber office.
Dallas Area Visitors Center is working close with the students at the Morrison Campus to plan this year’s Trick N Treat, providing weekly “Event Planning” classes. The students are learning everything from logistics planning, marketing, PR, and budgeting to securing sponsors, getting donations and working with the community. The students are actively looking for donations of bags of candy and small prizes to hand out to the little ghouls and goblins! We are expecting 500 kiddo’s dressed up and ready to Trick N’ Treat! Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! Donations can be dropped off at the Chamber Office or at the Morrison Campus!
