The Inspiring Story of Independence Grill and Bar & Shop Small Saturday

Novembers Chamber Luncheon is a unique and exciting one. Gregg Peterson from Independence Grill and Bar will be discussing his journey to business man. Downtown Dallas Association as well as the  Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center will be launching this years Shop Small Saturday.

Independence Bar and Grill is the product of a boys dream from the early age of nine years old. With Gods blessing this dream came true in December of 1998. Independence Grill and Bar is not only a childhood dram, but also a lifelong passion. They are committed to serving their customers and community by providing excellent food at great prices.

“This place is amazing! You can tell the staff all work well together. Food is always perfect. I love how the owner takes time out of his busy schedule to walk out front and ask his customers how the service is and if they are enjoying themselves. This place has become one of our family’s favorite place to eat.” – Rhonda

Their mission is to provide great food, provide great service to their customers, and to be of service to their community.

Shop Small Saturday is a shopping holiday held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. It is a counterpart to Black Friday, and Cyber Monday which feature big box retail and e-commerce stores. By contrast, Shop Small Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local.

Help attract customers on Shop Small Saturday and show off your Shop Small pride with posters, email templates, and social posts. They’re free, easy, and available now!
