JD Shinn
As CEO of the Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, JD is focused on helping Dallas grow as a great place to live, work & play. It’s a clear call to action that’s driven this CEO from teaching and youth work to business ownership to the Chamber. JD has worked to advance our area and find opportunities for improvement, whether it’s advocating for the business community, implementing groundbreaking programs like the Mid Willamette Valley Leadership Summit or consulting on with business owners on their needs for growth. He’s directed a pilot workforce development and leadership program, been a business owner of two businesses and is the first of his family to earn a bachelor's degree - Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from George Fox University where he graduated with honors. He’s Oregonian to the core, homegrown here in Dallas and returned in 2016 to reinvest in the community that he grew up in. You’re just as likely to catch him sharing business resources with a local business as you are to find him watching a Beavers game with his wife and 4 kids or hiking a local trail.

Shelly Jones
Shelly is a Marketing Professional works to highlight Dallas and the surrounding area.
She believes that marketing is a major key to community growth. She has secured tourism grants for various counties throughout Oregon, has been an integral part of event and fundraising marketing as well as worked as a CEO, Membership, and Events Director and Fundraiser for various Chambers of Commerce, Visitors Centers and Non Profit Organizations. She is trained in neurolinguistics, certified in Training and Development and has extensive practical experience in non-profit management, organizational communication, and administration.
Shelly received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Marylhurst University in 2005. She went on to graduate with honors in 2013 from Marylhurst University with a MA in Training and Development as well as Organizational Development.
