I moved to Willamette Valley from Eastern Oregon 20 years ago. We finally settled in Monmouth. I managed a Satellite office for Eastern Oregon University and Treasure Valley Community College 15 years before moving west. I worked at a large church in Salem as an administrator for over 16 years. I wasn’t ready to retire and wanted to do something with my life that I felt would make a difference to others. I wanted to be of service in a different capacity. I was hired by Garten Services as a Job Developer and after about a year I became the Assistant Manager of Supported Employment. I just became Interim Operations Manager overseeing the Supported Employment Divisions in Salem and Eugene along with Daybreak, our day services program. I love the people I serve and want to offer more services in Polk County.
